I had a great time testing the new D810 from Nikon at the European Swimming Championships in Berlin a few weeks back. Amazing camera with superb low light capabilities, a decent frame rate for shooting sports images as well as huge file sizes! the shadow detail is phenomenal, and for shooting underwater in poor lighting conditions it has no equal.
I tried to experiment with some new angles and camera positions this time out, and the detail and size of the raw file that was produced really helped cut through a lot of water haze and helped me capture some images that were previously out of reach.
